I first met Cyd during one of the most stressful times for any family—selling our home and relocating. From the beginning, Cyd was an absolute professional. She brought not only deep knowledge and skill to the process but a remarkable sense of calm and presence that helped carry us through. I vividly remember several moments where I felt overwhelmed and didn’t feel like I could continue with the process.  Somehow, she always picked up when I called and responded to every message faster than I could have hoped. I’m still not sure how she was able to do that. She always made me feel like I was her top priority, but I know full well how incredibly busy she was. She always knew what to say in order to help us through the process; offering advice or sometimes just being a calming presence. It felt like a miracle to have someone so capable and responsive in our corner.
 

What I didn’t realize at the time was that the home she helped us move into was just a block away from her. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to know Cyd not just as a professional, but as a neighbor and friend. She and her family welcomed us with genuine warmth and have made our transition into the community feel seamless. Her love for Pleasant Grove is clear—not just in words, but in how she shows up for those around her. Whether it's a friendly wave, a thoughtful conversation, or her involvement in community matters, it’s obvious that she’s deeply invested in the people and the place she calls home.
 

As I’ve gotten to know Cyd more personally, I’ve also come to appreciate her in a new light—as a leader and public servant. She cares about this city not just because she lives here, but because she sees it as an extension of her family. She brings heart, grit, and a genuine desire to make things better. And importantly, she has the skills, experience, and determination to turn good intentions into meaningful results.
 

Over the years, we’ve entrusted Cyd with leadership roles, and each time she’s risen to the occasion. Her record speaks for itself. She’s someone who listens, learns, and acts with integrity. Cyd has also helped improve our city parks and recreation facilities.  We have particularly enjoyed the development of new parks for our family and expanded pickleball facilities that she has supported.

We have lived in Pleasant Grove since 1978.  We love this city and have found a wonderful way of life here.  While Cyd has served on the City Council, the improvements and advancements the city has made in the last several years have improved our quality of life.  We appreciate Cyd’s common sense approach to city government and know that if she is elected Mayor, the city will continue to grow and prosper.

I have been a PG resident for 44 years so I have watched the growth of the city with several different mayors over that time. CYD has served as city Councilwoman for many years with a level of enthusiasm and dedication compared to none! She literally LOVES Pleasant Grove! She was instrumental in getting our neighborhood streets re-surfaced once funding was available.  I proudly recommend her to be our next Mayor!

On a personal note, I admire Cyd’s compassionate side the most. When I think back on trying times in my life, Cyd is one I can always count on to be there, to check in regularly, and to show up. She serves with heart, and I’ve seen that firsthand. After a long night at a city council meeting, knowing I was sick and home alone, Cyd stopped by—unasked—and did my dishes for me and even cleaned my kitchen floor. That’s just who she is. She notices, she cares, and she acts. That is the kind of leadership our city deserves.
 

I've had the opportunity of being neighbors with Cyd for over 24 years. Over this time, I've not only gotten to know her as a neighbor, friend, but also someone who cares  deeply about our community!

I immediately said, “Wait, you’re actually her?” She replied that she was and I told her that I was very impressed that she was out walking door to door and talking to people herself instead of just sending someone else to do it. Since that experience, I have followed Cyd on social media and gotten to know her better on a personal and professional level. I have been very impressed with her incredible ability to connect with people and serve our Pleasant Grove community. I often wonder how she does it all! I taught fifth grade for 37 years. 29 of those years were at Valley View Elementary. Cyd became our PTA President. She and her husband Ryan always went the extra mile to help the teachers and children feel needed and important! Cyd loves Pleasant Grove!

I have watched her serve as your City Councilwoman.  I’ve never seen anyone inform the citizens of Pleasant Grove of what is going on in their town. Most of the time she responds to both the positive and negative comments. She listens to both sides and then makes the best possible decisions. Here again she is going the extra mile to keep you informed on the various issues in Pleasant Grove. I can’t imagine how many hours she spends doing this! Time and time again Cyd has shown that she cares more about people than politics. She builds bridges between groups of residents with different ideas to find common ground and get things accomplished for all residents.

She is tireless in her efforts to keep the residents informed on all things Pleasant Grove. Her transparency and willingness to share information have opened a line of communication between residents and the City Council that is rarely seen today. I am writing in support of Cyd LeMone, candidate for Pleasant Grove City Mayor. My experience, as a former City Councilman (another city) and Entrepreneur, has given me “first-hand knowledge” into what it takes to be a successful Mayor. It’s my strong belief that Cyd possesses the needed attributes to be our next Mayor.
 

Cyd is a visionary: she has a clear and strong vision of the future. She has foresight; she is creative; and, she has the ability to plan and motivate others to join with her in guiding the future.
 

Cyd is a believer: she loves Pleasant Grove; This is her hometown; She stands up for what’s right; she’s a doer and has a proven track record of “walking the talk;” she’s not one to sit back and wait for others; she will step forward and get her “hands dirty.”
 

Cyd is a proven leader: throughout her life she’s accepted leadership roles! She’s a great collaborator, influencer and decision maker. Cyd’s successful role on the City council is manifested through her strong communication skills, business acumen and courage. Everyone’s important to her; she stands her ground and does not shy away from difficult choices; she expresses gratitude and leads by example; people enjoy associating with her; she does not demean others.

Cyd takes responsibility: Cyd is a true leader (in that) she takes responsibility for her actions; she’s resilient and solicits input, suggestions and (yes) constructive criticism; she’s constantly striving to improve; she holds herself accountable; she knows earning the position of Mayor underscores the need to protect City resources; and, treats everyone with respect, kindness and authenticity.

In summary, I know Cyd’s heart. She wants to help make Pleasant Grove the best mid-sized City in Utah. Yes, this is a lofty goal! But she believes in doing a job to the best of her ability. Cyd is smart, capable, thorough and efficient. Her moral compass dictates a zest for fairness, self-discipline and reliability.

She’s optimistic, organized, READY and grateful for this opportunity.

I met Cyd back in 2001 when I first moved to Utah from California. She was working full time at Utah Valley University (then UVSC) as a Financial Aid Advisor, and I was going back to school, starting a part-time role in the department. Cyd was one of the first people to greet me, and she took the time to get to know me. She did everything from setting me up on dates, to helping me figure out my career path. I was SO impressed that she had her bachelor's degree, was married with a new baby, and working a full time job at such a young age. She was, in one simple word, motivated.
 

Cyd told me that she was from "PG.”  I had no idea what "PG" was at the time since I had just moved to Utah, but apparently "PG" was amazing and the best city ever, and I HAD to go check out this place called the Purple Turtle. There wasn't any question that Cyd loved and has always loved Pleasant Grove.

Now, I am lucky enough to be Cyd's neighbor, and I am still SO impressed with her. She is KIND, LOVING and SUPPORTIVE. She is DEDICATED to helping people. She has a STRONG DESIRE to do what is right for the community. She is EDUCATED on the issues that are needing attention in Pleasant Grove. She truly CARES about the feelings of the individuals in this community. She's a HARD WORKER. She absolutely LOVES our amazing city, and I can't wait for her to be our new Mayor.

She takes time to explain complex issues, points residents to the right departments, and goes the extra mile to find answers when she doesn’t have them readily available. Her devotion to Pleasant Grove is genuine—it’s a labor of love.

Her voice has been essential in Pleasant Grove politics for the past 13 years, and it’s time for her to lead as our Mayor.

We’ve worked together for years—on the PTA, in community groups, and on all kinds of projects that matter to this city. Through it all, I’ve seen firsthand how much she truly cares about our community and how hard she works to make a difference. She’s not someone who just shows up—she dives in and gets things done.

Cyd is smart, driven, compassionate, and deeply rooted in this city. She listens, she leads with heart, and she knows how to bring people together. I can’t think of anyone better suited to take on this role. I’m proud to call her a friend, and even prouder to support her campaign for Mayor.

I have gotten to know Cyd through interactions with her on local policy and voting issues as well as her family involvement with my PG business (Valkyrie Fencing Club). She is always knowledgeable, helpful and engaged with the community. I respect and trust her.  She really is a neighborhood hero.

I have lived in Pleasant Grove since 1980. I have known Cyd for probably 30 of those years. I would like to express, enthusiastically, my support for Cyd LeMone for Mayor of Pleasant Grove. I have admired her since the moment I met her. I would like to relate some of the reasons for my great trust and appreciation for her. She lives in my neighborhood and attends church with me each Sunday which means I see her in places where she works hard with her supportive family and she works hard with her church family. She loves helping and serving others. She is pleasant and fun to be with. She is youthful and energetic. She plays pickleball and participates with the community enjoying tournaments and challenges in this great sport that she enjoys so much. She has lived in the Pleasant Grove community all her life, attended schools here, participated in community activities and traditional events here, so she has history with the community in a deep and involved way. She loves her family and loves Pleasant Grove. She has been serving on the City Council for years because she cares and wants to make a difference for others as well as her family. She is dedicated to helping Pleasant Grove be the best it can be and that takes a lot of work from a lot of people. She is a team player and encourages others to get involved and share their ideas. She is reliable, trustworthy and very enthusiastic in all areas of her life. She is so involved with the communications for the Pleasant Grove City media making a huge effort to answer people's questions and finding answers to those questions in a timely manner. I also enjoy her personal Facebook connections where she shares her interests and passions in her life. Her favorite things would be "Everything Halloween" and "Everything Strawberry Days" She also shares her Friday Night Dates with us which are so fun. They plan a different date each Friday Night. That takes a lot of creativity and interest to carry that off every week. Which says a lot about her character. She is interested in finding new things and answers to problems in a new way. She is very Clever! Her family is amazingly supportive and so fun. Her husband, Ryan LeMone, is her number one fan. He is her right hand man. They work in tandem for one another and support each other so beautifully. Her children are also supportive and will be there whenever she needs a helping hand. It is an amazing family. That old slogan "All for one and One for all" applies to this family. In conclusion then, I believe Cyd LeMone is the person that will bring: Energy and enthusiasm for helping Pleasant Grove grow into the future. Dedication and trust in her ability to solve problems by looking to the past and planning carefully for the future. Caring and sharing attitude with the community members who have questions and answers to their concerns. Immediate attention to concerns coming from the community through her mastery at responding quickly and reliably. A supportive family that will be behind her when she needs them. Fun, clever and happy behavior when dealing with people. She is so interested in helping people be happy. She is fun to be with.

I’d like to give my endorsement for Pleasant Grove Mayor to Cyd LeMone. I’ve been her neighbor for many years and Cyd is an A+ neighbor and friend and is always willing to help others in need. My name is Stephanie Revelli. Me and my family have lived in Pleasant Grove for 18 years and we love it here. Almost 10 years ago, I remember getting a knock at the door. I opened it to find a woman holding a flyer ready to tell me about someone named Cyd LeMone who was running for Mayor. While I listened to her I realized that the woman she was speaking about was herself! I immediately said, “Wait, you’re actually her?” She replied that she was and I told her that I was very impressed that she was out walking door to door and talking to people herself instead of just sending someone else to do it. Since that experience, I have followed Cyd on social media and gotten to know her better on a personal and professional level. I have been very impressed with her incredible ability to connect with people and serve our Pleasant Grove community. I often wonder how she does it all! She makes everyone feel seen and heard while simultaneously being proactive with the issues that frequently arise. I have never seen someone with so much love and spirit of community as Cyd! I have had the privilege of knowing Cyd for the past 17 years, and during that time, I’ve watched her work tirelessly on behalf of everyone in Pleasant Grove—from the youngest children to our senior citizens, and everyone in between.

Cyd and I worked for many years together at UVU as Financial Aid Advisors. During that time we served together on committees, collaborated on projects and navigated many professional challenges together. I always found Cyd to be a fair, competent, and professional colleague. I valued her input and trusted her commitment.

Cyd was an advocate for her students and worked hard to help them obtain success. She was compassionate to their struggles and I watched firsthand as she cheered them on when they needed it most!

Now that I’m a small business owner in PG, I’ve really appreciated Cyd’s support and helpfulness whenever I’ve had questions. She’s been a great resource! My husband also encouraged his company to move to PG, and we’ve both had really positive experiences here.

I, along with my family, have been neighbors of Cyd's family for over 7 years. Over those 7 years, I have learned a lot about her. If I could name two things that I think best describes her, it would be her dedication and passion. She exhibits these two qualities in most all aspects of her life. I am writing to give my full support for Cyd LeMone as a candidate for Mayor of Pleasant Grove, Utah.

I moved just a few homes away from Cyd and her husband Ryan nearly five years ago, and in that time, I have come to know her as both a friend and a neighbor. Cyd truly embodies the leadership qualities, dedication and integrity that our community needs in a Mayor.

Over the years, I have seen Cyd’s genuine commitment to Pleasant Grove. She consistently keeps neighbors informed about her major events - from city meetings to year-round community activities. She attends them with real enthusiasm. We have often enjoyed seeing and chatting with her at these gatherings. Cyd not only talks about building a stronger community, but she also lives it.

As a new citizen of the United States and a member of this community, I could not be prouder to support Cyd in this role. I was especially touched when she celebrated my new citizenship by gifting me a beautiful, 4 ½ ft x 9 ft American flag, which I proudly display in front of my home during the month of July. Her thoughtfulness, patriotism, and kindness are just a few reasons which I believe she is the right person to represent all of us as Mayor of Pleasant Grove. 

I feel that Cyd is a wonderful candidate for Mayor because of her love and commitment to our community of Pleasant Grove. We met many years ago when I worked at the local swimming pool and have become friends over the years. I have watched her serve as a City Councilmember and she is always willing to listen to the concerns of others and takes the time to try and find solutions. That listening ear will serve her well as Mayor.

I have seen her interactions with people in public and she is loved.  She knows our needs as a community and the things we care about. I once responded to one of her posts on Facebook and she reached out and thanked me privately, we have been friends ever since.

I’m proud to support Cyd LeMone for Mayor of Pleasant Grove because I have seen how dedicated she is to Pleasant Grove. I have known Cyd since she was elected to the City Council.  Since then, I’ve watched her take on more and more responsibility throughout Pleasant Grove. As a mom in the community, I know she cares about the safety of our kids and wants to provide a sustainable, family-friendly place for all of us. Cyd is approachable, relatable, and kind. She respects our local heritage and values, and she is committed to serving Pleasant Grove. 

What sets Cyd apart is her dedication to open, two-way communication with residents. She cares deeply about the community and puts in countless hours communicating with citizens about city updates, concerns, and announcements. She has an open mind, listens to people’s concerns, and responds with thoughtful action. I’ve seen her in stressful situations where she has remained calm and quickly found practical solutions. I trust that she will continue to make decisions based on what the citizens of Pleasant Grove want.

The fact that she’s taken on the responsibility of responding to posts on social media says a lot about her. She’s putting herself out there in an environment that isn’t always supportive—but she continues to show up—consistently, respectfully, and transparently—letting residents know that someone is listening. No one would willingly place themselves in that position unless they genuinely cared about people. Cyd has become the go-to person in our community, so it only makes sense that she becomes our Mayor—she’s already stepped into that leadership role, even without the title.

Cyd is passionate about celebrating the historical roots of Pleasant Grove and wanting to preserve the heritage, while also wanting to move Pleasant Grove forward, with a long-term perspective. She cares about bringing businesses into Pleasant Grove, so much so that she opened her own business in town. I am sure she could have gone elsewhere, but I am certain that it wasn’t accidental that she chose a location within PG.

I’ve personally brought issues and questions to Cyd over the years, and she has always responded quickly and taken action. For example, I reached out to her a few years ago about a nearby park that didn’t have benches for parents to sit near the playground. I didn’t know how to make an official request, so I messaged Cyd. She responded right away, let me know she had forwarded the concern—and sure enough, that park now has two benches. While this is a small example, it proved to me that she listens and acts on residents’ concerns. I have no doubt she will continue to do this as mayor.

I support Cyd LeMone for Mayor of Pleasant Grove, and I encourage others who care about our city's future to do the same.

This letter is a recommendation for Cyd LeMone for Mayor of Pleasant Grove. As a resident of Pleasant Grove for almost 4 years now, and living previously in other cities nearby, I have never been “in the know” about things going on in a city than I have here. I would attribute that to Cyd almost exclusively. It appears that she single handedly runs the City Facebook group, promoting local businesses on opening days. When she does this, it’s not just posting and forgetting about it, but true interaction with the residents. Whether it’s informing residents of new businesses opening in town or changes to parks or construction or city policy updates. On multiple occasions she has left her personal phone number on some of these posts with the ask that people call or text her anytime with questions or concerns. While brushing shoulders with her on multiple occasions we haven’t talked politics much and I’m not even sure where she lies along the political scale, but her demeanor, leadership transparency, track record and accessibility is

I’m voting for Cyd because she is passionate about continuing to make Pleasant Grove City a great place to live. She knows what the city needs when it comes to the community and how to help the city thrive. She has the skills to speak up and is not afraid of saying what needs to be said or do what needs to be done to help the city continue to grow. She is a great leader and has the skills to lead with compassion. Cyd is my aunt and what I do know is that Cyd values her family and her relationship with others. I’ve seen her pour so much love into serving her community and I know she would go above and beyond as Mayor of Pleasant Grove.

My name is Dan Dyer.  For nearly nine years I have been a resident of Pleasant Grove.  Prior to my move here, I lived for 51 years in Washington state.

I first met Cyd when Kyle Fox first hung his gigantic American Flag in the Pleasant Grove canyon some 7+ years ago.  As a veteran of the Vietnam War, and coming from a home that was ultra patriotic, when I heard of Kyle’s undertaking, I had to go see for myself.  You see, on my father’s side our family was on the Mayflower and on my mother’s side, I am proud to be a 5th generation of Mormon Pioneers, who settled Lehi, Nephi and Manti, Utah.

Cyd so impressed me, I organized a meeting for her to come and present herself and what she stood for, how she saw what Pleasant Grove could become if she was on the City Council.

I hear her name come up a lot and it is always with praise and what a hard worker she is, but more than that, Cyd loves and cares deeply about Pleasant Grove.

I want you to know that not only am I endorsing her as Mayor of our wonderful, quaint city, but I am canvassing and promoting her 100%!
